PARISH SCHOOL

St Martin de Porres Catholic School community provides a rich learning environment that is welcoming, safe, relevant and calm.

Our school celebrates childhood, learning, faith and community and our Catholic traditions is expressed through Veritas – Truth and In Omnibus Caritas – In All Things Love.

GROUPS WITHIN THE PARISH
We are blessed with many people willing to share their friendship and talents in a variety of ways. They include:

  • Visiting Team
  • Family Groups
  • Finance Council
  • ​Bereavement Team
  • Knights of the Southern Cross
We have a number of various prayer and bible study opportunities as well as Rosary nights. Contact the Parish Office for more information on any of the above.

ADULT EDUCATION IN THE FAITH
Is offered periodically both locally and regionally. Information in newsletters, on notice board and upon request.

SCRIPTURE REFLECTION
Meets weekly during Lent & Advent - then fortnightly in the church at 7pm on Tuesdays.

VINNIES
They are known as a very active group within the parish and the wider community, helping those in need. They meet on the 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 pm in the church foyer.  New members are always welcome - please contact Greg Schar through the Parish Office.
